Alice Elizabeth Nicholson
June 22, 1915 - July 17, 2010
Alice Elizabeth (Hauxwell) Nicholson, also known as "Flashlight Alice", age 95 of Oxford, June 22, 1915-July 17, 2010. Preceded in death by her beloved husband James Nicholson, her son Raymond and his wife Mary, daughter Mary and son Edwin and her grandson Scott.

Alice is survived by her daughters Barb (Loren) Raymond and Darlene (Michael) Rider grandchildren Brian, Karen, Brenda, Lorri, Tracey, James, John and Jylnelle; 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren as well as by many nieces, nephews and friends. In 1941 she started working at the Oxford Theater (Oxford Opera House) and worked there for over 50 years.

Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors Bossardet Chapel 39 W. Burdick, Oxford, Thursday July 22, 2010 at 11 AM. Interment Oxford Township Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday July 21 from 3-8 PM.

My heart and prayers go out to all of you....Alice is one lady that I will never forget...she has touched many lives over the years and done so much for people.
